Half Over

So, 2014 is officially half over.

A lot of things have changed and others are still in the process of changing. On July 1st, 2013, I wrote down some lecture notes in my journal–“You can’t think your way into new living, but you can live your way into new thinking.” That makes a lot of sense, but I don’t think it did back then. My thoughts can sometimes be my own worst enemy, but my actions don’t necessarily need to reflect that. That’s how I’m changing my life today and becoming the person my mother raised me to be.

Mama Griff, “Do you want sliced cheese with dinner?”
Me, “Yeah!”
Mama Griff, “Well, then slice it.”
