Four years ago, my plan was to go to Drake, have the time of my life, graduate with friends and go out into the world as a journalist for the people.
Obviously, plans change. But that’s okay. I’m learning to take things as they come, however they come and making the best of it. Sometimes making the best of it entailed swallowing my pride and reaching out for help. Other times it just means drinking RedBull and playing pool (beating boys at pool, too) with a good friend.
Sarah Muntean, “He told her he doesn’t like her hanging out with me.”
Me, “Why is everyone hating on you?”
Sarah Muntean, “Cause I’m liberal, man.”
I may not be where I thought I would be in life, or even where I want to be. But I know, I’m exactly where I need to be. There’s some peace in that.
